So it has been called wrangling cats and there is a professional organization that talks a good talk, but are well planned projects a good deal?
Obviously, I have an opinion, but I also think it’s important to go down this road a bit… I’m going to put a statement out here that might be upsetting, but I believe it. And I have some experience. Just a bit.
We should be talking about “Process Management”, not “Project Management”. If the technical lead, business lead and the project manager are all the same person, then you can “manage” the project. Otherwise, the project manager can only facilitate the process. And as such, we should be talking about process management.
