Good businesses are often boring…

More than twenty years has passed now since I started my first company. In that time, I’ve worked for major corporations, helped to start three other companies, bought companies and even sold companies. I’ve built high energy teams, I’ve worked with countless offshore teams, I’ve spent years consulting and I’ve run IT for billion dollar businesses. I even ran ops for a government travel agency.

In that time, I’ve heard it all and seen even more. What have I learned, you might ask? I’m glad you did. It’s really quite simple. Pick one thing and excel at it. As a person, as an employee, as a department and as a company. That’s not a guarantee of success, it just gives you a fighting chance, and a fighting chance is all we can ask for!
